The following checks take only a few minutes each but performed regularly will improve the performance, reliability, safety and eventual resale value of your car.
*Check all lights are working (check stop lights by stopping near a door or wall and looking at the reflection).
*Check that the coolant level is satisfactory.
*Check the oil level using the dipstick.
*Check the tire pressures (see the manufacturer’s Handbook for correct levels).
*Check the condition of the tires by checking the tread depth across the full width of the tire (if wheel alignment or balancing is incorrect this can cause the tire to wear unevenly).
For more advice of further details on how to correctly perform any of the above checks consult the vehicle manufacturer’s Owner’s Manual.
Alternatively, your advantage service manager will be pleased to assist you.
